Black Snowfall — Caridina Shrimp

Black Snowfall Caridina Shrimp display a deep black base with light, snowfall-like speckling across the head and body. Unlike Stardust shrimp, Snowfalls generally lack the fishbone-style tail pattern, creating a smoother overall appearance.

Mid Grade Black Snowfalls are offspring of High Grade breeding stock but do not fully express the desired traits or overall appearance selected for the line. They may resemble Galaxy Tigers because they can show fewer dots, larger markings, or more visible striping. The Snowfall lineage was developed by selectively breeding for smaller, finer dots. Shrimp with smaller, more numerous, and more evenly distributed dots are considered higher grade.
